Plans for 2015/16
Project Arts is planning our next year. We have chosen to work on smaller educational projects as opposed to larger musical productions over the next year. We are starting in Jan 2015 with a free Storytelling class for ages 18-21. The next project will take place around April/May 2015 and will be a class in learning how to do drag. The next project will be a choir project in Sept 2015. Our last project of the year will take place from Nov. 2015 through Jan 2016 and will be a project in which we create 3 short musical theater pieces from scratch.
LOOKING FOR ARTS EDUCATORS/GENERAL ED/ SPEC ED TEACHERS AND TUTORS
I am looking to expand Project Arts into more educational programming and am looking for Art Teachers, General Teachers, Crafters, Tech Teachers, Music and Instruments Teachers, Acting Teachers, Special Ed Tutors, Elem/Middle/High School Tutors, etc. The way it would work is Project Arts would sell and set up these classes. The teachers would work on an on call basis with pay for prep time and teaching time at a fair rate. Once this project gets off the ground and we can get funding, we would pay at a higher rate and provide more educational opportunities to those involved. The classes would be anywhere from 1 on 1, to small groups (5-15). The pay would be more for group classes. If you are interested please spread the word and contact Rich at email@example.com 215-301-2914 Please propose what you'd like to teach. We are open to anything from teaching comics, to video editing, to voicee classes, to drag performing, to silk screening, to basic math tutoring, etc. These classes would be set up for children, teens, adults, seniors, etc.
